Sylvotherapy survey

The aim of this survey is to deepen our knowledge of practices and practitioners, towards a socio-anthropological definition of sylvotherapy, but also to measure the potential effects on the well-being of practitioners through the lens of the social sciences (sociology, anthropology, ethnology).

Who is conducting the survey

  • Frédérick Guyon, a sociologist at the University of Franche-Comté, specializing in the use of natural areas, is in charge of data construction and analysis.
  • The questionnaire is distributed by professionals using the forest bathing approach.

Who is concerned by the survey?

  • All those who practice “contact with trees”, sylvotherapy and shinrin yoku, whether guided, accompanied or free.
  • Guides, guides, therapists, coaches, practitioners, relays who can distribute the questionnaire to their trainees, clients, audiences and individual practitioners.
  • If you’d like to take part in this survey to advance understanding of the therapeutic links between the forest and us, answer this survey in two parts: before a forest bath (5′), and after (15′)
